If you have work clothes and casual clothes the first thing to do is to separate them into two piles. Next, put seasonal items together within those two categories, starting with heavy sweaters on one end of the rack and working your way down to light-weight t-shirts. Finally, arrange your items by color so you will be able to find what you need at-a-glance.

Of course, the best way to organize any cluttered space is to declutter. If you have too many clothes than what will comfortably fit into your closet you might want to consider purging the clothing that you no longer wear.

Here is a great way to test yourself. When you organize your closet, put all of the hangers on the rod so that the hooks are facing toward the back of the closet.

As you wear an item and then return it to the closet, turn the hanger so that the hook is facing toward the front of the closet.

After six months, any hangers with hooks still facing toward the back will indicate clothing you have not worn in six months. If you don't wear it in six months, get rid of it - it is just cluttering up your closet.

I just listend to the latesdt podcast and wanted to extend my appreciation. I am an faithful listener (I subscribe through ITunes) for over a year and find the podcast very inspirational. It has helped me get through a tough year - listening to Ira and Julia is like being with good friends. I lost my job in January and I'm looking for work, so the recent "Enthusiasm" podcast was particularly relevant to me. Thanks for helping to keep my mind and heart open, and my chin up.

I'd also like to mention how much I like the references at the end of the podcast - I have both downloaded music, and borrowed books and movies from the library based on these.

Nice topic. It got me to thinking.

I am a single mom with no near by family so I have had to put off most of my "bucket list". I would like to point out those with out partners and doing it on their own might not have the resources to go to "New Orleans" with toddler in tow. Of course as I write this I realize that was the whole point of your podcast. You have to make things happen even when it seems difficult.

I am going to try to take your advice and stop putting off some of my bucket list off. I don't know how, but hopefully it will come to me.

Hello,

I am sorry to say that as a parent, this episode made me cancel my supscription to this podcast. In my own journey of self-descovery, one of the main principals that I do my best to adhere to is to state things as positively as possible. I feel that this episode focused on all the negatives of parenthood and did adequately present the prespecitve that parenthoold can be a the positive life change that comes with living a self-less life. I am left with Julia's judgement that the lifestyle of a parent is "boring". I understand the message that was attempted to be articulated in this episode, however I feel the tone of the episode left me with the feeling that Julia feels superior to others.

Hello Ira & Julia,
I've been a loyal listener of your podcasts since discovering them about 2 months ago. I just went for my morning "podcast walk" and listened to your 8/30 presentation. I try to walk each day so I can listen to podcasts!! At any rate, I just wanted to thank you for today's show in particular. I'm at a crossroads in my work life and find I'm resisting going back into high tech corporate life. My heart yearns to discover that "thing" where I can happily & enthusiastically put my energy. It's painful to live in a place of yearning. I have much to offer - I KNOW I do. Right after listening to your podcast, I listened to Dido's "White Flag," which always brings me to tears. Even though the song is about a relationship, I hear in that song a determination to not surrender that can be applied to anything - "I will go down with the ship...No white flag above my door." That's how I feel and I guess the tears come because I still yearn for the fulfillment to making others' lives better. Bless you both and thank you for being a positive light!

Hello Ira & Julia,
I’ve been a loyal listener of your podcasts since discovering them about 2 months ago. I just went for my morning “podcast walk” and listened to your 8/30 presentation. I try to walk each day so I can listen to podcasts!! At any rate, I just wanted to thank you for today’s show in particular. I’m at a crossroads in my work life and find I’m resisting going back into high tech corporate life. My heart yearns to discover that “thing” where I can happily & enthusiastically put my energy. It’s painful to live in a place of yearning. I have much to offer - I KNOW I do. Right after listening to your podcast, I listened to Dido’s “White Flag,” which always brings me to tears. Even though the song is about a relationship, I hear in that song a determination to not surrender that can be applied to anything - “I will go down with the ship…No white flag above my door.” That’s how I feel and I guess the tears come because I still yearn for the fulfillment to making others’ lives better. Bless you both and thank you for being a positive light!

Hi, Julia and Ira!

I haven't yet listened to this podcast (I just finished the one on feng shui), but wanted to send some love and support your way.
I've really enjoyed all the podcasts so far and have gained a much greater understanding of the law of attraction and how to use it, thanks to your shows.

The conversational back-and-forth style is very easy to listen to, and you both have interesting and enjoyable ways of relating information. I hope you'll keep this up!

One thing about emailing--I noticed you have to sign up for a podbean account--that might be keeping some people from contacting you that way. Just a thought.

Anyway, thanks again for the podcast and please keep them coming. You're definitely helping me and, I'm sure, lots of other people.

So I am fairly proud to say I love the feeling of attracting prosperity. There is a certain excitement and yet a balancing sense of peace of mind to the feeling. I am quite enjoying your podcast, I look forward to each ofthe next installments. I do have a question which I guess is regarding guilt or blocking of flow. I am grateful when money comes my way and is offered with love, but what about when it is from someone who may need it more from me than me from them? For instance, if my daughter and I go for dinner etc. and I know she makes considerably less income than I do, plus attends college. She lives very much paycheck to paycheck...is it ok for me to deny her when she offers to pay for the Outing? I enjoy helping her immensly and she is a bright young (19) lady with reasonable financial skills so I suppose if she offers, she might be able to afford it, but then again...I could be wrong in my assumption. I find that I immediately want to pay for (whatever) the outing so that she doesn't run short on her own money, and thus turn down her offer of money. Am I blocking the flow by this kind of action? Thank you for your time, oh and just so you know, I enjoy the music selections at the beginning and end of each podcast, AND the fact that you tell us whom they are performed by.
