Freedom of Expression
The First Amendment of the US Constitution guarantees the citizens of this country free speech. Yet, despite our public guarantee that we will not be prosecuted for expressing our opinions, many of us censor ourselves privately feeling that what we have to say is of little or no worth. And if our speech has no outlet, the very ideas that need expression will die or find outlet in ways that are truly harmful to ourselves and possibly others. Being genuine, non-judgemental, non-blaming and direct in the expression of our positions will lead to better friendships, marriages and success in business and life.
