Being Present is a fundamental skill for success
We live in a world of email and cell phones. People walk down the street seemingly talking to themselves. Couples share lives but often are like ships that pass in the night. Even when we do spend quality time with people who are important to us, it’s often interrupted by phone calls or “You’ve Got Mail” or I’ve just got to finish this one last thing. This week, Julia talks about how important it is to be present in all that you do. This applies whether it’s your best friend, lover, business client or sales prospect. The quality of our lives is raised enormously by both valuing the people we encounter each day and being fully engaged in our actions with others and all that we do.
